Here is a recording taken from a cassette tape dating from February 1987 of a session from Tony Williams' Rockers FM radio show.

This was broadcast on Sunday afternoons during the 1980's on BBC Radio London.nnMuch of the music coming from Jamaica at this time was digital and computerised and Tony Williams named it "Hi-Tech Style".

This tape is a historical document of the dancehall reggae sounds popular in early 1987.

There are a couple of slow lovers numbers too.nnThis set features well-known reggae artists such as Linval Thomson, Aswad, Leroy Smart, Freddie McGregor, Al Campbell, Gregory Isaacs, plus many others, some of whom I don't recognise.

nnTake a trip back in time and have a listen to the music back then, which still sounds fresh and relevant today.nn Enjoy.nnHere is a show from 1985:nwww.youtube.com/watch?v=cth5hMSfLy4
